Equine Assisted Learning
$70.00
Equine assisted learning is a learning approach which teaches and enhances life skills using horses as the tool to focus and channel the attention of the student to facilitate learning. Â This focus on life skills can be relayed to classroom behavior and achievement, personal growth, and development as well as future goals of leadership and pursuits of professional endeavors.

Lessons are a combination of groundwork and mounted components in most situations.Â
Â
The goal of the EAL sessions is to promote the development of life skills and growth, through horsemanship related activities with horses. These skills include communication, truth, honesty, connection, self-regulation of emotions and confidence as well as the importance of following directions, focusing on tasks, multi-tasking and coordination.
Â
Each session is custom tailored to your child’s abilities and needs, to facilitate their personal growth and achievements. From the autistic child to youth with self-esteem or focus issues, EAL sessions can help many children and youth achieve their full potential.
