Onyie Mae

Onyie is an 8 yr old grade mare who stands 14.1 hands.  

Onyie is an energetic and athletic alpha mare who loves to move.

She side passes and works off your legs well, pivots and will give a good try on obstacles.

She is also consistent inpicking up correct lead to lope and can do flying lead changes.

She can be ridden in bosal, snaffle or curb. She does best in a bosal or side pull, but withsoft, yet firm hands, she can do well with bits.

Unfortunately, she and her youth owner are not a good fit due to Onyie’s energy causing a breakdown in confidence.

Onyie is suitable for an experienced, confident youth or adult rider.

She has not shown any indication of resorting to a bolt, rear or buck.  

When out with other horses, she likes to be caught up last. To catch her up before last needs patience and draw. 

She can be a bit pushy on the ground and while riding, but she responds well to firm correction and needs it to relax and be confident in herself.

She has a current Coggins, is up to date on vaccines and has had consistent hoof care every six weeks with no medical or hoof issues.

Teeth floated last October.
I believe she has been started on the barrel pattern in the past.
